Dining at River Hills Country Club

River Hills Country Club strives to give you, your family, and your guests a one of a kind dining experience. Our options range from casual to fine dining. Aside from our a la carte menu options, we also offer a wide variety of specialty fare such as intimate wine dinners and weekly features curated by our Executive Chef. The exclusive Wine Society and Bourbon Club provides members access to specialty-allocated beverage options, discounts, and more. Our offerings are sure to please all tastes, styles, and occasions!

Meet our Executive Chef!

Chef Matthew Wood is originally from Vicksburg, Mississippi, and brings with him almost 40 years of experience in the kitchen. Raised in New Orleans from the age of two, he has a love and passion for food and was groomed to be a chef from an early age. He has worked in some of the most famous New Orleans restaurants, including Antoine’s and Restaurant Jonathan where he developed his Cajun flair and flavor building cuisine. He continued to work in different areas of the country and even owned his own restaurant for over ten years. Chef Matt has had his own cooking show, taught classes, and has given numerous seminars on healthy cooking techniques. He has even had some of his recipes featured in Bon Appetit magazine. He has spent the last 15 years in country club kitchens where he feels right at home. Chef Matt prides himself in being a hands-on chef, making everything possible from scratch using his well-tested recipes. His famous gumbo, which is permanently on our menu, helped inspire Jimmy Buffet’s song “I Will Play for Gumbo!"

Bourbon Club
	The Bourbon Club gives you access to some of RHCC's specialty-allocated bourbon. While you may not be able to find them on the store shelves, you can find them here! There’s a special menu for those in the Bourbon Club. Of course, anyone can see the list, but it all comes at a price. Bourbon Club members will receive a significant discount. The cost to join the Bourbon Club is $200/membership/year. That’s less than $20 a month!
Wine Society
	Not into bourbon? We have something special for the wine drinkers. As of March 2023, RHCC is proud to introduce the Wine Society! The Wine Society also has its own benefits. The cost to join is $200/membership/year. 10% off all wine dinners 20% off all bottles of wine purchased in the restaurant Ability to purchase wines at wholesale prices to take home Reduced corkage fee in the restaurant First chance to sign up for all wine dinners

Annual Smoke on the Water Fall Festival

Grab your friends and family for our Smoke on the Water Fall Festival and get ready for some family fun games, bounce houses, hayrides, live music, smoky aromas, and cold brews!

Christmas Dance

The Christmas Dance is one of our most-loved holiday events featuring a live band. This is your chance to get dressed up in that tuxedo or ball gown you only get to wear once a year and dance the night away while enjoying our open bar and cocktail-style heavy hors d'oeuvres.

Holiday Events

The holidays are very important here at River Hills Country Club! We celebrate most major holidays and invite our members to join us for brunches and cookouts throughout the year. Easter Brunch, Mother's Day Brunch, Memorial Day Cookout, Father's Day Cookout, 4th of July Cookout, Labor Day Cookout, Thanksgiving Brunch, and Santa's Workshop Brunch are some of the many events we put on our social calendar!
