Annual Veterans Tournament

Honoring our Veterans

The 2023 Veterans Appreciation Golf Tournament was a huge success. River Hills Country Club welcomed roughly 100 Veterans for a free day of golf, food, fun, and fellowship. The proceeds of the tournament benefit Veterans Bridge Home, a Carolina’s-based nonprofit organization that assists Veterans and their families in their transition from military to civilian life and beyond. The success of the tournament was made possible by the generosity of our members and sponsors. We invite individuals and businesses to participate as a Sponsor in 2024. Donations are needed in the form of money, goods and services, products, and donations of items for a silent auction/awards. Please see the various levels of support. Levels of Support

Commendation Medal Sponsor:
$100 – Sponsor a veteran to play

Purple Heart Sponsor:
$200 – Play* and sponsor a veteran to play
*Non-Veteran participation is subject to Veteran participation.*

Bronze Star Sponsor:
$300 – Hole sponsor and 1 golfer* and 1 Awards party attendee
*Non-Veteran participation is subject to Veteran participation.*

Silver Star Sponsor:
$500 – Display business on assigned hole and 2 golfers* and 2 Awards party attendees
*Non-Veteran participation is subject to Veteran participation.*

Distinguished Service Medal Sponsor:
$1000 – Display business & greet golfers on assigned hole and 4 golfers* and 4 Awards party attendees
*Non-Veteran participation is subject to Veteran participation.*

Medal of Honor Sponsor:
$5000 or more – Chief Sponsor recognition, display business & greet golfers on assigned hole and 8 golfers and 8 Awards party attendees
